Wake Up Call ... not a MISSION IMPOSSIBLE

Each of us has a fair share of UPS and DOWNS... whether the former is seldom experienced than the latter, we once had our lowest points and others are quite unfortunate to taste agony of defeat more than twice. Some would feel helpless, hopeless and seemingly... LIFELESS.
The used-to-be WHOLE self has turned into pieces. The world is nearly falling apart and NOTHING else appeared to be overflowing except tears.
What's the use of drowning oneself in misery when there's a way to escape from LONELINESS. The key is in you... you just have to make use of that key to open the doors and rescue yourself. The STRENGTH is in you... you just have to bring it out and make use of it to overcome the pain.
NOBODY can cure the wounds that are constantly hurting you but your own healing power... your FAITH should be stronger and your PRAYER should be louder than your cry.
You see yourself in the mirror with others' tribulations... You see them while they suffer. It's frustrating to see your reflection with someone in the same situation. Now, what? You should not waste your time and effort in winning back the LOVE that's lost.
How will you START moving on?
Take that one STEP to walk forward... Once you take it, there's no turning back.
A major wake up call. You should be an inspiration of greatness rather than an example of failure.
I guess in life, we should always go on forward though of course, it's alright to stop and rest, slow down and relax but the important thing is we live forward and by the moment.
ReplyDeleteIn addition, if life felt like a walk in the park, then it won't be exciting so the more reason we go forward even if there seems to be a lot of obstacles.
ReplyDelete"NOBODY can cure the wounds that are constantly hurting you but your own healing power... your FAITH should be stronger and your PRAYER should be louder than your cry." Definitely agree. It's alll up to you. When you get hurt or you stumbled, allow yourself to grieve..give it time..then move forward. Sulking into negative feelings will make you feel more miserable..
ReplyDeleteAs the saying goes, a journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. In order to take that step, there are so many decisions and thoughts to streamline. It really takes a lot of effort and courage to take that leap of faith!
ReplyDeletetrue! only us and just our own self can make all the difference to no turning back of what made us lonely for a long time or what have mde us cause us misery. xx
ReplyDeletei've felt your every word here. i am actually down and i do not know what to do. i know that problems are meant to face. but, it seems like i became tired of facing it. you knw whats the silly thing i did today? i slept the whole day. coz waking up gives me head&heart ache.
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with your view. To hell with hopelessness. Just believe in your self, make the first step and always remember.. marami si God na hope. for one He is our hope.
ReplyDeletePrayers and faith move mountains. We have the power to define our future so we must define it. This is not a wake-up call this is an order!
ReplyDeleteWhy other people can escape the sadness and failure that sometimes lead to death? there are a lot of reasons. Hope we all learn to let go and move on.
ReplyDeleteBeginning is the hardest. Great analogy and thoughts you posted here, it made me think, twice.
ReplyDeleteAgree! Stand up and move forward. I love that! Negative will just give you sadness and boredom.
ReplyDeleteHear Hear! I can attest to this, especially when it came to past relationships. There's no way to go but forward! :)
ReplyDeleteWe can always go to our "center" and find peace, healing and acceptance from within. Love this post!
ReplyDeleteLife is not a bed of roses, failures come and go. The important thing is we know how to get up and fight again.
ReplyDeleteFaith is that element which allows us to elevate in every aspect of our human existence. I think we should all have this put to heart.
ReplyDeleteDwelling in negative aura, will cause one's life miserable, prayer, faith, moving on is the right thing to do.
ReplyDeleteThis one reminds me of the famous quote from the great movie, Magnolia: "We may through with the past, but the past is not through with us." We have our own pains in life but the biggest problems is some of us dwell in the past too much. As a result, we fail to grow and commit the same mistakes over and over again. True, we have to move on. But it would be better if we stop longing for the past and deal with present like true grown-ups.
