Sometimes LOVE Just Ain't Enough...
LOVE has been my favorite topic ever since I started blogging aside from of course, talking about my family and how I go through LIFE being a wife, mother, daughter, sister, etcetera... etcetera...
Who would never care to read any article or post that tackles about this four-letter word with a million and more definitions? You can label me as a hopeless romantic or maybe a more appropriate term..."corny" as many would call it.
When I finally met my husband and eventually tied the knot with him, I realized that we should not seek for love for it is love that will find us.
I want to share with you a story of two people who have gone far and away only to find love at second sight. But, the love they once shared is not the same love any more.
God knows, they strive to make it work the second time around, but for some reasons... that love which should have been sweeter and deeper just ended... A shadow of the past just haunts them to fall apart.
I'm truly inspired by how these two brokenhearts struggled to make their relationship survive but now... it's only fate can tell if the missing piece will ever be found to make them whole again.
This is their story and for me, this is their song... "Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough" was popularized by Patty Smyth and Don Henley back in 1992.
Every love story is different and it doesn't always end the same way but what matters is that we make our own happy endings.
ReplyDeleteJust how fairy tales end... the girl is rescued by her prince charming and they live happily ever after. But in real life, it's doesn't happen all the time.
DeleteLife does give us a series of twist and turns and ups and down but that's just how life works and even if they don't get their happy endings, they still won't give up to find better ones.
DeleteRelationships fail to work because of a variety of reasons. And in the end, it's destiny and fate that decides on the ending. I hope people don't lose faith in love, though. So for those who've found love and manages to keep it, savor and celebrate each and every second of it. Strive to be happy.
ReplyDeleteIf we can describe love in million ways... certainly we can think of a million reasons why two people may have lost that loving feeling. I so agree with you that if ever love finds us, we have to savor every moment while it lasts.
DeleteExactly. :) I love this song, by the way. Namiss ko tuloy magvideoke.
DeleteTo love is to hate, accept, forgive and respect. Lets spread the Love Bug:) Interesting post:)
ReplyDeleteThe more we love... the more we hurt and can be hurt but no pain can ever hinder anybody to fall in love all over again.
Deleteyeah! there's really danger in loving someone too much. Personally, I always say "leave something for yourself", such when you got hurt "there's still YOU".
ReplyDeleteLoving yourself first makes it easier to love others.
DeleteLoving somebody too much can be dangerous but at the same time, life teaching. Love is a very profound phenomenon which cannot be measured by how many times a person fell out.
ReplyDeleteFalling in love is indeed an inspiring experience and being hurt is just part of it. Without the PAIN, we can never be stronger and wiser.
DeleteThe pain can be the mighty tool to face other batches of tests ahead.
DeleteClassic song :) See, such emotional pieces are rarely written now. Many modern love songs are just downright cheesy, not romantic.
ReplyDeleteI do believe that there is no such thing as "Love is sweeter, the second time around". Parang glass kasi ang Love, such a fragile thing that needs extra care.
ReplyDeleteSOMETIMES LOVE JUST AIN'T ENOUGH...true, been there done that. I loved somebody and he loved me more but love alone was not enough .I guess we were not meant with each other.
ReplyDeleteLove may rally sometimes ain't be enough. I may not have experienced it but I heared and read stories like that.
ReplyDeleteYour title made me sing the whole song and ended up watching it's youtube video. Yes, sometimes, luv aint enuf!
ReplyDeleteI like this song, sis. Napaawit tuloy ako..hihihi
ReplyDeleteLove just ain't enough! Love moves in mysterious ways, no matter how hard we resist. It will be struck by it unknowingly.
ReplyDeleteYup, its true that sometimes - love is ain't enough. Relationships doesn't only rely to love but it all comes back to it. Trust and patience as well as acceptance, that's what it is.
ReplyDeleteEvery Love tory in unique! and sometimes LOVE is really not enough on a relationship, there should also be trust and understanding.
ReplyDeletenice song love it!
ReplyDeleteMore than love, there should be other elements to keep it alive.
ReplyDeleteLove may not always have a happy or a fairy tale ending. At times, its the other way around. Misery. But the best part of being in love is the lessons it brings along with it.
ReplyDeleteAfter few reading, I ended up searching the title and lyrics in youtube, and now i'm on LSS.
ReplyDeletethere's a danger in loving somebody too much. parang videoke lang. :)
ReplyDeleteFavorite song ko ito dati, kapanahunan ko, mga teenage years na puno ng kainlovan. But now that I am a little bit old, love ain't just enough talaag.
ReplyDeleteWe can never really tell how a love story would end in the same way that its beginnings can be a surprise.
ReplyDeleteDon Henley is a favorite.
ReplyDeleteA lot of songs, especially love songs, can move me so easily.
sometimes love is just a word and all.. it should be a complete package of trust, compassion..
ReplyDeleteI also believe that it is love that will find us, and I'm just waiting ^^
ReplyDeleteLove must always have an ingredients of trust and understanding. Always put God at the center of your relationship. :)
ReplyDeleteI like this post very inspiring :)
ReplyDeleteit's the challenges and flaws in life that gives spice in it. and how you face and handle these challenges matters most... and the only key to a perfect blend is having the Lord in your lives. Yahweh bless.
