A Kid's Tale

a kid's tale photo 1

I am a kid
and still naive
with no worries
in my mind.

There's nothing
to be sad
but anything to be
glad about.

I just want to play
draw and scribble.
Eat when starved
sleep when exhausted.

I am a kid
and still naive.
Hide and seek
is a fun game indeed.

Now look around...
Can you see me?
I'm just here.
GO and keep searching.

Watching TV is
my hobby.
I guess you know
these guys.
Then give me a Hi5 !!!

I am a kid
and still naive.
I'm sure you wish
to be like me
like you used to be.

But few years from now
and I'm a kid no more.
Spare me this moment
and let me enjoy.

Oh my goodness!
I still wish to play
but my TIKOY,
seems so overly dismayed.

    1. Simple things they do everyday make them busy and pre-occupied unlike grown-ups... we deal with complications and challenges that we oftentimes forget about taking time out to have fun.

    1. For a mother like me, sometimes I have thoughts that it's better that they remain kids forever... less problems and worries. I can still manage to control their tantrums and attend to their simple needs. Once they become adults, complications may arise.

  3. I couldn't agree more. Let kids be kids as they'll enjoy that privilege only once. It helps them grow up into responsible adults.

  4. Looking back, childhood is the happiest, most carefree phase of our lives because someone is still taking care of our needs. That is the reason why children can be children.

    1. We've been through this stage and now, is the time for our own children to enjoy being young and feel so dependent on our care and guidance.

  5. We grown-ups could still enjoy a kid's moment by having that "kid at heart" concept... :D
Yup, let the kids enjoy their time for this is just a moment of their journey in life...

  6. Kids are so fun to watch. Makes you envious of their energy and envious of their no worry world. It's okay since we all came from that stage. Nice pics.

    1. Kids should be treated as kids. We cannot demand any maturity in their thoughts and ways. we can just watch them grow normally.

  8. I have a 5-year old nephew and when I try to look at life from his POV, I find myself envying him. I find myself wishing for even just one more day as a kid - no worries, no problems, always laughing, and pampered. I think it's important for a person to never lose touch with the inner kid deep within. Great pictures, by the way. :)
