PHOTOGRAPHS of an amateur
My brother DANLOURD has an eye for photography. Actually, I encouraged him to get serious about it because most of his snapshots are pretty good and the angles are just strikingly appealing.
Anyways... I would like to share these photos with you and tell me your thoughts about them.

interesting perspective! :)
ReplyDeletefirst photo is cool too =)
he should definitely go out more and shoot away
I'm no expert but I would have to say 'timplahin' pa niya yung lighting & exposure for the darker snapshots. Also, I loved the photo of the water. YUng rush ng tubig at paghampas sa babae ang astig lang. :)
ReplyDeleteNice pics. Kaaliw yung first. Witty caption. Provocative freshness!
ReplyDeletei like photo no. 1 coz teasingly sexy and 7 capturing the details of the rock!
ReplyDeletepractice pah!
ReplyDeleteYou are correct, he's got the eye for catching good subject..
He knows about rule of thirds I might say,
careful din sa look window and making straight horizons!
By practice, he could learn more of using elements in the background to compliment the subject..
like the shadows of a person, or the people behind or the lack of it..
Our minds are haywired to view things to be straight, kaya kahit naka baligtad tayo, we see the horizon as straight..
Unfortunately, our cameras are not.. so pg me nakita tayong pic na parang naka tagilid or tabingi, tayo rin ay tatabingi para makita ng maayos.. hahaha! I don't claim to be expert, everything I know was taught to me or I learned it on my own..
Hoping for more nice pics from you!
the photo "Under The Sea without the water" is a nice one! :)

ReplyDeleteNice pose especially the attention catching first photo in the waterfalls
ReplyDeletenakakaaliw tingnan mga shots. hehehe. saan to? ang ganda din ng rock formation! :)
ReplyDeletei like shot #1 and #5.. more photos to come.. iba naman subject :)
ReplyDeleteI like the one with yellow bandana.
ReplyDeleteThe third and fourth photo could have been so much better if there were no distractions behind your back. ^_^
ReplyDeleteThese are great photos since all of them portray life and its beauty.
ReplyDeletenice shots for an amateur, i like the first photo :)
ReplyDeleteI would suggest more practice, lalo na sa pagtimpla ng settings ng camera. Is he using a DSLR?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, ganda ng place. Saan ito?
I like the under the sea without water shot :) Just so nice!
ReplyDeleteNice photos as a start. Im also trying photography now. haha!
ReplyDeleteClicking talent and nice background = excellent photography. I especially like the water covering almost the model's entire body, first pic.
ReplyDeleteThe yellow bandana caught my attention, with more practice he will surely go a long way!
ReplyDeleteHe's got the rule of thirds well, must lookout for those unnecessary stuff like shadows, people in the background and so...practice lang always, will surely get better!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the rule of thirds is... anyway, I think the shots were great although medyo maliwanag masyado yung iba. :)
ReplyDeleteI think all the pose are great specially the first one I like the best.
