Invading CATTLEYA RESORT
Every year, Acierto Clan traditionally brings the whole family for an out-of-town summer escapade. We usually go to Pansol, Laguna and enjoy its hot springs but this year we preferred to go somewhere near like Antipolo.
Because of our large number, we can only afford an overnight or two-day stay to any private resort. We usually make the road trip on January to search for clean and spacious rooms that can accommodate the entire clan. Once the reservation was settled, we start the countdown
This 2012, we invade the cold waters of Cattleya Resort. Came March 31, more than 60 of us headed for the hills of Antipolo, Rizal.
Our meeting place was Jollibee-Tikling Branch to have our breakfast. We were the first customers of that morning. While waiting for our orders, we took some photos.

After eating...took more photos. "STRIKE a POSE" Never got enough of pictures here... picture there. Fun fun fun! The closeness between our families are just incomparable. Everywhere we go and whatever we do... we share moments with so much joy in our hearts

We've reached our destination at around 7:30 but we stayed outside and waited until the maintenance people had finished cleaning up the clutter left by the outgoing occupants.

Playground with swing |
The playground was the crowds' favorite spot while trying to overcome boredom and withholding their growing anticipation of the refreshing experience awaiting inside. Just look at these two BIG men... playing like kids. Good for them, the swing were able to carry their "quite" heavy weight. QUITE heavy weight??? They could hardly move the swing.

Wow! The rates are quite affordable, given that you're more than 60 who's staying in the resort? Have you tried Loreland's in Antipolo? We were about less than 20 people (family members).
ReplyDeleteLooks like this is a nice place. And malapit lang from Manila.
ReplyDeleteFun time with the whole clan! Funny to see even grown men enjoying the swings :D
ReplyDeleteWow an out of town family outing, fun! We rarely go out of town coz our kids are still so young and it's not easy to bring them all the time. Hope to have an activity like this soon too with my relatives, I have not attended our reunion for a very long time.

Sa dami ng pictures na kuha mo, I'm sure sulit na sulit ang stay nio.
ReplyDeleteI felt like a stalker looking at your family pix. :)) Nice personal touch though, better than just showing brochure-worthy photos of the resort. I guess more than the facilities, the smiles of your family members would really sell this place.
ReplyDeleteWow, lots of photos and you guys seem to really had fun! :D I still haven't gone out swimming, busy kasi. But hopefully our family get to go on an outing too before summer ends.. ^^
ReplyDeletelooks like a really fun place, I laughed hard at the swing were two guys were sitting ^_^

I love big family outings! I usually plan quick getaways with 16+ family members in tow. Anyhow, for your next trip, you might want to try Loreland. It's also by Antipolo. It has a lot of pools and affordable lodgings. Ü
